Production Picture Vehicles was founded on one straightforward principle: that sourcing vehicles for production should be handled by people who actually understand both industries.
Built from genuine experience across the motor trade and the film and television production world, the team behind PPV has spent years on the ground building the kind of network and knowledge that only comes from being on the ground - at auction, in workshops and on set.
That experience shapes everything PPV does. From understanding what a brief actually means in practice, to knowing which calls to make when the requirement is unusual - the knowledge is there because it's been earned.

Between us, we bring over 20 years working in film and television production and more than 30 years in the motor trade. That combination isn't common - and it's what makes the difference when a production brief lands with specific requirements, a tight timeline and no room for error.
We understand how productions work because we've been part of them. We understand vehicles because we've spent decades buying, selling and sourcing them. PPV's database is built on vehicles submitted by private owners across the UK. If your vehicle spends time in storage and you'd like it to be considered for production use, submit it for free through the Vehicle Submission page. Productions pay well for the right vehicle, and the more distinctive it is, the better the rates tend to be.

PPV draws on its network of vehicle owners, collectors, dealers, auctions and specialists to find what you need. Drawing on a network built across years in the trade, most requests can be responded to quickly - even unusual ones.

Vehicle confirmed and delivered
Once the right vehicle is identified, PPV handles the confirmation, preparation and logistics. If transport, modification or stunt preparation is required, that's coordinated as part of the same service.
